Registration & Payment Authorization

All participants must be registered prior to the start of class. If a child arrives without a completed registration, we will proceed with check-in by registering the child on-site and charging the card on file.

By arriving to class and participating in the session, you acknowledge and authorize the charge for the service provided. This allows us to ensure a smooth check-in process and avoid disruption at the door.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any purchases made through our platform. Exceptions may apply.

At Creating Me, the safety of children is our top priority. To ensure the well-being of all our students, we maintain a nut-free environment to accommodate those with allergies. We kindly request your cooperation in refraining from bringing or consuming any food or snacks containing nuts on our premises. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe space for all children.

An adherence to our commitment to maintaining small class sizes, we do not permit discontinuation of lessons mid-billing cycle, nor do we issue refunds during the month. For students enrolled in our month-to-month payment plan, withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 days in advance.

Upon receipt of a withdrawal request, automatic payments for the following month will cease, and your child will be "unregistered" from our studio. Their class spot will then be allocated to the next child on our waiting list, if applicable. Re-enrollment requests will be considered on a first-come-first-serve basis. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CREATING ME, INC. our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, managers, teachers, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from your violation of these Terms or the referenced documents, or your infringement of any law or the rights of a third party.

Upon participating in the class, you consent to exempt CREATING ME, INC. its associates, and facilities from liability regarding any injuries or damages that might arise during in-person, online, or outdoor class activities.

I, representing myself and my children, hereby willingly release, permanently absolve, and agree not to pursue legal action against CREATING ME, INC. and its proprietors, managers, contractors, members, employees, agents, and volunteers, as well as individuals, for any potential claims arising from or connected to my or my child's exposure to any contagious disease, including, but not limited to, the novel coronavirus or COVID-19. I acknowledge the inherent risks of outdoor activities with my children, including exposure to elements such as ticks, bees, poison ivy, etc. The claims waived herein include, but are not limited to, claims of negligence against any of the parties released.

Please note that we are not a Child Care (CCF/ DAYCARE) facility. Parents are required to remain on the premises. We are a Creative Arts Studio “ENRICHMENT PROVIDER” AND “SUMMER CAMP PROVIDER” Certified for these by the Department of Children and families. OCA # 11135923ZDCF. General ORI # EDCFGN10Z Summer Camp Programs ORI # EDCFSC30Z. All our Teachers and Teaching Artists have undergone a background check level 2 and are CPR trained. Selected Teachers have been certified by (DCF) mandated 40 hour Child Care Training and five (5) clock hours of DCF-approved literacy training for selected programs.

Upon participation in any class or event you grant CREATING ME, INC. permission to photograph, film, or make sound recordings of your children. These recordings and images will be exclusively used for promotional materials to market our services and will not be distributed or sold in any way. Free street parking can be found along 73rd-77th ST. Additionally, a PayByPhone parking lot is available on 77th ST and 4th CT, where hourly rates apply. Please be advised that upon exiting the PayByPhone lot, an image is captured, and failure to pay may result in a fine. CREATING ME, INC assumes no liability for any parking tickets incurred while parked on the premises or within designated parking areas.

If any provision of these Terms of Service is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it shall still be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The unenforceable portion will be considered severed from these Terms of Service, but such determination will not impact the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
